I write because I’m supposed to write as evidenced by the pure feeling of validation every time I engage in the process. I write from intangible, inexpressible compulsions that refuse to be defined by the intellect because they come from some deeper place.

But the results of complying with these compulsions is amusement, reflections, explorations, inventions, epiphanies, directives, observations translated through my quirky viewpoint and freedom.

I write to free fleeting expressions of my existence, my mood, and the thoughts that insist on being captured in a tangible visual on the page in order to be read again or shared or morphed into the next level of meaning.

When I write there is nowhere else I would rather be.
